1. Background/Introduction

The College Promenade BIA is undertaking a branding project to help provide a stronger identity and sense of community for our area. We often become inadvertently identified as “Little Italy” or “Little Portugal” which we are not. This BIA has worked hard to beautify the neighbourhood and bring art and assets to the area to make it a great destination to eat, work and play in. Back in 2019, we did a logo and brand colour exercise, and we will continue to work with these.

2. Project Goals and Scope of Services
The goal of this project is to create flourishing green spaces, as well as maintain tree pits within the College Promenade BIA.

We are looking to have a creative, enticing, fun and colourful map created of our boundaries to compliment our branding and enhance the placemaking of the College Promenade BIA. The map will also need to include but may not be limited to showing:
  • TTC stops
  • Art Murals/Installations
  • Bike Share Locations
  • Key physical landmarks
  • Legacy buildings/businesses
  • BIA built parkettes

Different Iterations of the Map will need to be provided:
  • Instagram Square
  • 8.5” X 11” version
  • 11” X 17” version that can be folded into a smaller size
  • Website version
  • High resolution files will need to be provided
  • Base map will also need to be able to be used in Canva should it need to be used to highlight any special events, construction, road closures, etc.
